Do you protect your gadgets?

We all have those nice pieces of electrical equipment and some are rather pricey but do you protect them? What if you dropped it and caused a dent? A whole accessory market preys on our fears and accommodates all our needs to make sure our gadgets stay safe.

I recently got a new, albeit cheap, case for my iPhone probably the most treasured gadget I own at the moment and incidentally the only one I really protect.  Cameras and camcorders are normally put through the same treatment but why not mobile phones.  They are probably the most expensive item we carry around with us and still we don’t really protect them.  In no way are cases sold in such scale as to iPod or MP3 devices but why?  Do you protect your gadgets or only your most important one?
